The ACT Environmental Law Handbook contains an overview of environmental law in the ACT. It outlines rights and responsibilities in a range of legal areas and advises on where you can go for more assistance. It is important that you use the Handbook as a starting point only, and not as a substitute for legal advice. You should make your own inquiries and take independent advice tailored to your specific circumstances prior to making any decisions or taking any action regarding your legal rights and obligations in any particular circumstances.
